My Phantom Love
She is simple and sweet,
cute and clumsy.
She is funny and flirtatious,
intelligent, yet ignorant.
She is funny and flirtatious,
random and romantic.
She is all of these things
and so are you.
Or so I like to imagine.
And yet you are one thing
that she is not.
You are inspiring.
You inspire me in a way
that I don’t think she ever could.
I admire you and want to
improve myself for you.
Although I’m sure you’d say
I’m perfect the way I am.
And that makes me regret that
she is one thing that you
can never be.
Here.
