A Tree
A Tree
A plant so broad and tall,
With roots that grow so much they crawl.
Green leaves that pull in power,
Like the panels of a tower.
Not a drop of water goes to waste,
As if this column likes to baste.
Now the seasons begin to alter,
And the green of the leaves begin to falter.
The amazing thing is this being be
Nothing more than just a tree.
