She enters the room full of people,
She’s not the hostess, but maybe she could be,
If she preferred to,
But she found something better,
In the not corners and not centers,
Welcomed and invited, she’s welcoming and inviting.
We are all surprised at her warmth,
You would not expect a lady of such beauty, intelligence and charm to possess the power of love and joy,
Can’t count her out though,
On the field of games,
She’s just as bad,
That flirt she is,
But intentions never faltered with her,
Never meant to hurt and so she never did,
The guys would glance her way,
Maybe even stare a bit longer,
They could not help it,
And the girls,
Atleast the ones who were smart enough to,
Took their chance to befriend this angel,
To teach and to laugh, to tease and to run away on midnight adventures,
But we forgot someone!
Yes we did!
The hostess,
Mind you, she wasn’t too bad looking herself,
But she threw parties and did not celebrate,
And she did not welcome this intruder,
Who she did not want to invite but was forced to by false courtesy,
So I guess this is a powerplay,
Between the not bad and the not good,
But I don’t think you should be surprised,
It is a party after all.
