A flower petal,
Lost in a sea of paper,
The real caught in the fake,
Such typical behavior

A single butterfly,
Wandering the graveyard,
Life lost in the lifeless,
Can't seem to see the part

Those little things,
Make the world go round,
And the people who ignore,
Shut them up without a sound

The vibrant colors,
Drenched in black and white,
Without a child,
There's no wind for his kite

Toffee in the ice cream,
Unexpected but not unwanted,
When you accept that there are ghosts in your life,
You dare not be haunted

If the kids can see it,
Then adults should too,
Enjoy the world the way it is,
Beautiful and true
