Wallflower
In dark shadows you find me quietly lurking
A wallflower in a another world
Yet closer so that any soul can see
Never to be touched
Never able to feel
Never really loved
Only a 2D figure fast against paint and plaster
Pleasing to the eyes but not considered for more
Passed up for 3D, a new upgrade
Better plastic, sturdy brick
I sit in my flimsy frame
Just waiting for someone to notice
To see me and no other
To take me from this prison of plaster
And cherish, not disposed of in useless trash
See beyond to the real me
And notice just how loving this Wallflower can be
