You could be the death of me,
although that is quite alright,
for you see the key to my heart,
doubles as a knife
for all my feeble words and such would be trite,
if I too did not bet on them, my life.
-
You are my flaw,
the hole in my armor where your love dwells,
by my breast to keep my love in thaw,
while the rest of me becomes subject to freezing spells.
Out of my scars I made you a nest,
and the home you found
in the heat in my chest,
ensured I would always be around
when you need me best.
I am there, a wandering giant,
always moving, never at rest,
yet ever reliant
for you, I shall never cease
the one constant, to my many caprice
