The three dangerous words
That fell from your lips and
Froze time
So I could learn to trust those words before
They gently
Sliced through my defense
And danced their way into my heart
Those words were
Soft sweet
No they are more than that
Those words are
Epic
No they are more than that
Those words are
Exhilarating
Passionate
Those three dangerous words made my body tremble
And my heart explode into confetti pieces of relief and joy
That dissolved petty insecurities
Lingering in the dark corners of my soul
Bandaging cuts and healing the deepest wounds
Your three dangerous words saved me
And robbed me of a reply other than
I love you too
