I feel like the World is against me,
but I know its just me mentally being unprepared for what has come.
I wish to simply bask in the forgotten,
and let the tides of Ever More wash me gently away.
So as not breed to more ignorance,
I place my emotions into a tightly locked, caged, hole.
Only to reveal, the porcelain doll of enrapture,
with the marionette strings pulling me along.
I'll escape this Hell, my Hell,
with unabated certainty and lose what will destroy me.
As to obtain Heaven, my Heaven,
and live with golden glory the extravaganza in paradise.
Yet,
with arm's bay,
I reach with an outstretched arm,
missing by mere inches from my fingertips.
What I have,
What I desire,
What I will never gain,
is mocking me with silhouette shadows,
that stand watching,
with Cheshire grins.
Programmed with two demands,
perfect was the main illusion,
yet one for a boy and one for a girl,
subsided into one entity.
The World is not cruel or fair,
it is the base of free will,
and the demolished shells of the untended.
Slave me away and take care of me,
Whisk my soul out into the Aurora Borealis and love me,
Render away my steel wrappings and fix me,
Love, Care, and Fix me.
That is what I need.
Alas, I won't get it,
because all I see is,
Better, Faster, Stronger.
