The Horizon

The sky is so red
so very, very, red.
I can hear myself breathing to it
softly, in my chest
then suddenly hard
each breath getting stronger
until it stops.
And the clouds are so orange
hanging motionless in the wind
they're so very orange.
The ground beneath me is orange
from the red sun
with crimson swathes of grass
dotting it.
Why is the sky orange now?
And the clouds are so red?
They changed
The clouds...
They're sticking down from the sky
And the sky is such a rich color
of orange.
And I don't even hear my breathing.
