I'd Go There
Past deep sunk caverns and misty air
Through looming swells of mighty brine, the push and pull
I’d go there
To seek but yet one fleeting glance
Of one whose beauty stands
Entranced, bare
I’d go there
Seeking the willow flower, wisps upon the moon
As though starlight
Those misty tears of orbt’d glowing globe, she haunts the sky
Her silken brow an arc despaired
A winded sigh she hums
I’d go there
Her lilted breath, it sweeps the pock’d face in which we sleep
Our gentle respite, and repair
Her fading melody
I’d go there
