As you walk on stage you see him in the crowd
Your heart beats so hard and fast you're worried he'll hear
You are afraid you'll mess up so you take a deep breath
You start to sing when you notice him staring into your eyes
You almost faint when he waves
You smile in return and try to remember the notes and lyrics you have been memorizing for the past year
He starts laughing when a note came out wrong
Your heart breaks and you fall to the ground
When you open your eyes you see him sitting across the room and a tear sliding down his cheek
You pretend to cough to get his attention
He got the message and hurries to your side
He hugs you
He pokes his head up and looks you in the eye
Leans closer and closer until your lips are just centimeters away
He sneaks a smile in
Closes his eyes and leans closer to kiss you
Suddenly you wake up and realize it was all a dream
