Enclosed.
Four walls.
Surrounding me.
Dripping with fear.
A rising pool at my feet.
Rising steadily.
Untill reaching my chin.
Then stopping.
Waiting for my reaction.
And starting again.
Slowly drowning me.
Swallowing me.
My own fear.

I love the personification. The pool being fear.... that is really creative... in one of my poems "should have listened" the ocean is death and it kidnaps children
