We All Had Somebody To Go Back To
November 3, 2011
“Forever and ever” were the words at heart
And forever they will never set us apart
Because even in two worlds completely abroad
We have always managed to stay exceptionally strong.
Because with our heart in one world
And our foot in the other
We can manage to live as though everything is unfurled.
And even with love in two places at once
We fear not but the distance of trust
And to everything back home that we thought we outgrew
We all had somebody to go back to.
