The Indian way
Is it surrender to the man
Is it drugs or alcohol
Is it sex or stealing
Is it denying the Feds
Is it illicit or holy
Is it right or necessary
What wasn't the Indian way?
A volcano that has blasted
Ash and rock flying
The war that has raged
Now they are crossing over
The fences are being cut down
Wire by wire
They are coming for us
Because we were tempted
By their spirit snake
We have plucked their fruit
Now we must wait for their arrival
Wait on their blows
Surrender
