1920s: The Gangster and the Flapper

He’s a cold hearted and
A mean person to be around.
His eyes were always
Black and dark
No soul or heart
When he smiles at you
It makes you want
To cringe up
Into a ball
His boys would
Do his light work for him
Selling packs of drugs,
And bootlegging liquor
But his woman?
His woman isn’t the type
You’ll expect to be hanging
With a creep like him.
She was beautiful.
Her short brown hair
Would sway when she’d
Turn and smile
To the crowd.
“Hello boys?”
She flirted
"Get ova he!"
He pulled
