Valley of Secrets

Majestic hills,
Valleys green
In the distance.
Like the horizon,
Always seeming further away,
No matter how close you get.
Clouds shroud them in
Mysterious ways
In between the jungle trees.
What can it contain?
Maybe natives sacrificing their young.
Maybe an Indian temple.
Perhaps a fugitive camp.
The valley of secrets has a different
Story for everyone.
