Where have all the birds gone

They dissapeared into the twlight night
They were washing away by the ocean of sky
And left behind a trail of stars

Will the birds come back to regain what they lost
Or do the stars have meanings
Will they come back to tell me what it means
Or will I have to figure it out on my own

The next night the stars were gone
I wonder what happened to them
Did the birds come back to regain the stars
Or were they stolen
Why are they gone
Will they come back

Where have all the birds gone
