Everything was louder when I
Smiled and you
Didn’t.

The hallway sort of closed in and
My large feet seemed so small in my
Black ballet flats
As my shoes clicked
The chatter and noise swirled around my head
I went deaf for a small moment
And then,

I couldn’t hear you anymore.

Very unique syntax, I like how you structured the lines. The words although specific also could cover a variety of topics and are relatable in many situations. Keep up the good work!
