When the itch of literature comes over a man, the only cure is the scratch of pen over paper.

Not knowing, never knowing, wanting to know
Half-wishing things were diffferent and I didn't go
Listening to your voice and feeling pain
Knowing everything I was to you was just a game
Trying so hard to forget and move on
But you don't know how hard it is to be strong

We count the broken lyres that rest
Where the sweet wailing singers slumber.

Beautifully written poem - I especially really like the repetition in the first line, but I also love the ending. This is a good piece of work - keep writing :) Hey I also wanted to ask you if you could quickly look over my poem Silence Flutters and give me any suggestions or comments - I really want to improve my work. Goog job on this one!
