Cold Wind Blows
The cold wind blows the hood off my winter coat, as I walk along, snow crunching beneath me, like sticks snapping as a fox chases its prey. My nose is red, but it can't get much better than this. I can hear the snow plow go by, ever so slowly, ridding the Michigan streets of snow. Mom yells for me and my brother to hurry inside before we catch a cold.. Knowing good and well that we never get sick. At Least from the cold. I hide a snowball in my jacket pocket, so I can reminisce on the cold white goodness beneath my fingertips.
