I Will Always Remember You
As I stare at the words before me
 I can’t but help to think of you,
 You were there for me
 My whole life through

 One day he came and took you away
 From all who loved you;
 There was crying of course
 I couldn’t hold back my tears,
 And out they came in thick bursts

 But deep inside I knew
 That you were gone,
 That there was no better place for you;
 Now you probably have a family
 Full of people that love you

 But I ask you…
 Please remember me as I remember you
 All those great times lost and thrown away
 Those people can never take my place
 I can’t and don’t go a day without you in my thoughts
 My love will be forever yours
 So I hope you grasp it for all it’s worth
 You’re mine forever and always
 Let me and my memories be a permanent part of you.
