"The Sound of Trumpets"

At the sound of trumpets,
we shout for joy.
The birth is coming for the baby boy.
An angel came to her and said,
you're having a son, prepare a hay bed.
All gathered around for the coming at the manger.
A few wise men and a couple of strangers.
Merry Christmas they said to me,
and a king he is destined to be.
So as we hear the trumpets today,
just always remember,
that day in December.
