My Soul's Crying
When I was five
you told me that whenever it rained
that it was my soul crying
I asked "How Mommy?"
You said that my soul was so huge that if I'd drown
in my tears
now looking at your grave
I remember that day perfectly
'cause I can't seem to cry now
so I'll leave it to my soul
I look up at the cloudy gray sky
and watch my first tear drop down from the sky
I watch the rest falling down so hard
I remember that day
I remember this day
My soul is crying pleading for you
My tears follow too
