A Girl's Real Diamond
Love is like an ocean,
It's just a fare away dream,
To complex and unobtainable,
To ever leave us be.
Yet we wait to free our souls,
And our hearts from this torment,
Because we long to be with eachother,
For that is how it is meant.
Love is like a glass ball,
Perfect in every way,
But drop the glass and it shatters,
And so forever your heart will bay.
Hence our love is not glass,
But a diamond just roughed on edge,
It's impossible to destroy,
Yet it's beauty is one to dredge.
So when all your tears fade,
And the violent convulsions end,
Remember your lover who lies here,
With a dream for more than friends.
