Favorite Quote:
Dream as if you'll live forever. Live as if you'll die today. -James Dean

As I drive on this needle-strewn road,
The rain falls like tiny diamonds.
These lights all around,
They’re so bright, it’s blinding.
And yet, it’s like an addiction.
Everything holds me back.
I go on my way.

The author's comments:
I came up with the idea for this poem when I was driving to visit a relative at night. I was surrounded by blinding lights. Then I developed the rest a few days later.
