The Ocean Life
Underwater
is where I am free.
Free from the restraints and chaos
of the world.
I gaze up at where the air meets the water.
The gentle breeze caresses the water,
the Sun warms my cold face
and the icy, clear waters.
The currents play a game
of Tug-of-War and I sway
back and forth
and back and forth.
Oh, how I envy the fish
of their lives in the water.
For they would have no knowledge of the
hustle and bustle of our lives.
I envy the sea turtle
for I wish I could be as unhurried and
Graceful as he.
I envy the sting-ray
for he is the bird of the ocean,
the sea; his sky.
