Beauty is the Beast
You see tender beauty, cherry lips and chocolate curls.
 Hazel eyes and satin skin.
 A blooming rose.
You see a girl begging to be saved not hearing her wordless taunts.
When there is war, she is innocent.
When there is greed, she is ignorant.
But did she not run away?
Did she not lead them here, to kill you?
 No.
 For shes too good.
Too good to laugh at the pain. To love the idea of it all.
 Not you.
 No.
 For shes too good.
You see her quiet beauty, downcast eyes.
But if you looked past your desperate pleas, through clear sight
 You might just find:
 It is not you
 But Beauty
 Who is the Beast.
