I sat there in the dark
Waiting patiently
For death to come
I have a strange feeling
That I may die tonight
May God have mercy on me?
I'm all alone in this life
Waiting for death to come
As death creeps up on me
Watching my every move
As I sat in the dark
I searched threw my memories
Both happy and sad
Ones I have lost
Ones I still live
I wish people would just leave me alone
I don’t want help
My soul the devil may take
As I'm in the dark
