Not babies, but still haven't reached adolescence.
Protected by their parents
A kiss on a bruise a hug for comfort.
Not exposed to the evils of this world.
Innocent creatures, who haven't reached a peak of cruelty.
Just content with playing and having fun.
Running as fast as their little legs can carry them.
Around the playground and away from adulthood.
Wasn't it simple when we were kids.
