There’s a pulsing sound all throughout
Cursing words that can’t be found
A Beat
Beat
Beat of a frozen heart
A Click
Click
Click of icy limbs immobile
Eyes gaze through dark, feet drag through the bloodied dirt
Lost no more, she crawls out the tunnels of darkness
Soft light caresses her battered features
Eyes to the sky she limps serene smile on her face
