Twenty years from now, it won't matter what kind of shoes you wore, how expensive your jeans were, or how you your hair looked. What will matter is what you learned and how you used it. -Unknown

When I look at you,
I see a statue.
I see the heavy stone that makes up your heart.
But I can't understand your motive for running circles around me.

You make me so dizzy,
the way you run circles around me,
And when you are done,
Just move on to the next girl on your list of heartbreaks.

You get yourself stuck in my head,
The sound of your voice hiding in every corner,
An image of your face circling my mind
Running through it over and over

When you look at me,
You read my face like an open book.
You stare into my soul through my eyes,
And for some reason, I let you.

Why do you play this game?
Are you really trying to cause pain?
You keep your secrets in a locked box
Somewhere inside that stone heart of yours.

I can't take you anymore.
You always win in these games.
No matter how hard I try,
I will never be good enough for you.

There will come a day,
when people will get tired of you games.
After all, no one like to be outrun
By the circles you run around us.

But until then,
We will just be characters in your game.
We will try to run away,
but will just be running in circles.

This poem was inspired by a guy who has caused me a lot of pain. It may not make any sense, by i just needed to vent out my feelings.
