To Tell
To tell would be too simple
To tell would be too hard.
To tell would soften me up inside,
To tell would make me hard.
 I’m too weak,
 I’m too strong,
I don’t need what you can givee.
I’ve lived life on my own and I’m not gonna givee in.

 But…

To tell might make it better,
If I just let you in.
To tell might be the best mistake
 to ever cross my lips.
To tell would relieve the pressure
 Building in my lungs,
Instead of swallowing it down again,
The truth would have finally won.

To tell would be the end of me,
 Or maybe the beginning.
To tell would drive me crazy,
But at least I’d still be living.
