You’re infected,
Hollows your veins,
Stopping your heart,
Running its course;
It’s changing you,
We can clearly see it,
Blood on your hands,
And it isn’t yours;
And your eyes,
Black as coal,
Used to shine so,
But not like this;
Not anymore,
And never again,
Because that blood,
The blood is his;

Wow, again I love how poetry can speak to a thousand people a thousand different ways. It's crazy. I wrote this one about a friend. It's about falling in love and how it changes someone. But thank you so much :)

this poem comes across to me like conflicting emotions what was good turned bad, what was found was once again lost, with an eerie sense of wonder who "his" blood it is, amazing and good
