Kneeling in an empty church
She sobs, clinging to her beaded rosary
Where was God when she needed Him?
Her faith was being replaced with doubts and unanswered questions
And she was tired.
Tired of believing in him
Tired of waiting for miracles that would never come
Tired of the lies that were fed to her during elementary
Back when she was
Young
Naive
Innocent
She wanted to believe in God
but it seemed like
God didn't want to believe in her
