A thousand voices once said,
A thousand words I have forgot.
A thousand eyes have seen,
A thousand sights that I have not.
A thousand breaths have sighed
A thousand pains and pleasures.
A thousand hands have entwined
A thousand lovers brought together
A thousand feet have walk
A thousand roads to nowhere.
A thousand thinkers thought
A thousand a thousand thoughts to prepare.
And each action spun its axis
An unmoved point in its suspense.
And I simply sat to watch
A thousand souls completer their dance.
