The Never-Ending Pain of Bulimia MAG
Like a thief, stealing
in the night, the one
that gets away. The one
who will strike again.
Like a parent, who cheats
on their spouse, the one
that gets away. The one
who will do it again.
Like cancer, spreading
through a body, the one
that gets away. The one
that will never leave.
Like a coyote, preparing
to devour an animal so
helpless, the one
who cannot fight. The one
who will die.
Killing each soul. Killing
each spirit, each animal,
each person. A circle
of never-ending death
and it only takes
one time. The one who
gets away is
the one who will do it
again. To fall into
that endless cycle,
you must start it.
Like a girl, staring
at a toilet, the one
with a toothbrush,
the one who makes
herself gag. The one
who throws up
for the very first time.
The one who starts
the cycle of
never-ending pain.
