if i could say anything
If I could just speak my mind
If you could only see every little sign
If you knew the truth what would you do
How pathetic would I look to you
Although your smart enough to know
 What each ridiculous utterance shows
What if you knew every little bit
I mean it is useless trying to hide it
But the truth is just to much to bear
It's easier to pretend its not there
 Right?
 If I could say anything
Not have to hold my tongue
I'd tell you how I really feel
Though very fearful of how you'd deal
 I hold my breath
 And hope for the best
knowing my luck my heart will break
And you'll hardly even consider it a mistake
You won't look back ever again
I'll be stuck with your memories beneath my skin
I just wish I could tell you I love you
And you would smile and say you love me too
