I'm standing on the bus
And I couldn't help but notice
You.
You, there, sitting in the corner,
with the long eyelashes and the short hair.
Looking out the window at nothing, at everything.
What are you thinking? You don't have an iPod,
don't have a book, no distractions;
What's going through your head as you watch
the river of cars flowing around this ship
of public transportation.
And why do you blink so much?
