the truth of truth

the truth is fickle it hurts it makes us happy it's a twisted thing the truth is for it can be a viper striking with deadly venom or a sunrise beautiful sight rain or shine the truth tries to hide as it slips into a dark of lies as we avert our eyes and wish to indulge in the lies versus facing the scary thought of what the truth holds so is our life so is how it goes we hide from truth and wish we didnt know what it knows truth is fickle and broken but whole and beautiful too the truth scares us this we all know
