Why did you leave
Why did you go
Far, far away

If you loved me
Why did you hurt me
Hit me and bruise me
And break me that way

If you loved me
Why did you kiss her
Why did you hold her
And not set me free

If you loved me
Why aren’t you here
In the time I need you
Now more than ever

If you loved me
Why didn’t you talk to me
Why didn’t you tell me
That I was the one

Because you lied to me
You never loved me
You just wanted me
For a little while

I’m sorry to say
That I ever loved you
The way that I know
You could not
