And so you tell me...
That we are growing apart
A loathing, a curse
Upon this beating heart
I wonder why
As I think and wonder
Heaving distraught sighs
I begin to believe I will never understand why
I don't want to believe
That we're growing apart
I don't want to believe
That it is because of the passion in this heart
I suppose it is a fate
To which my heart incessantly shakes
Unless otherwise deterred,
This fickle heart of mine may break...
