Silence

You've always been there for me
During tough times
And good times
We can sit and talk
But most important
We can sit in silence
And it's enough
Enough for me to understand
A tricky thing about life
A lot of people like to jabber away
But you have taught me that
Silence is virtue
That a person is smart when not conversing
And to me that means a lot
I don't know how to thank someone
Who doesn't know they taught me anything
But it seems silence speaks more than words
So…
