Frozen memories are held here,
forever standing until the world crumbles and falls.

Sheaths of pictures of the past
are entombed,
ready to be seen.

It is amazing how materials can hold so much feeling,
ready to emerge at any moment.

The shelf holds the weight of years upon it,
a faithful bearer of time.

This is about a shelving unit in my house that holds photo albums and yearbooks.
