Le Poème d'Amore et Haine
Sometimes I love you,
As deep as the ocean
And as wide as the sky,
And sometimes I don’t.
And sometimes I hate you,
With all the fires of hell
and all the blood in my veins,
And sometimes I don’t.
And when I love you
I want to take you up in my arms
And hold tight until
You love me too.
And when I hate you
Your voice is a poison
That burns through my ears,
And the thought of you
makes my heart sink.
But isn’t it funny?
How love and hate
evoke the same amount of passion,
And aren’t much different at all.
