With one moment, everything can change.
A simple drive, quickly escalates to the unknown, to something you've  never imagined.
The blink of an eye, that's what happened.
She told me an instant prior, "Do not ride in that car"
Usually obedient, however that day, that one day.......
It happened in the blink of an eye. 
As the scenery passed, the passenger in her seat heard that firm voice come to last.  
"Go home, go back home" Ignoring my conscious, a gut feeling that reconstructed my being. 
Listening to music that became irrelevant, my friend, the driver, gasped for life.
  It happened all in the blink of an eye
  Eyes wide shut, the car transformed to a spinning whirlwind, thick white smog, breathe.
Blaring horns; final sound, unconscious friend; ultimate sight, seat belt; the last touch.
  As I lay my vision to rest; to cry, to bawl; to scream, empty lifeless sighs.
  All in the blink of an eye.
