Impeccably good
Bathed in ivory
A baby’s innocence
You’ve never lost
A terrible agony
It is to watch
A poor man seeping blood
A mother struggling to provide
An animal aching in misery
You save them
You carry them away with you
To an asylum
For the restless
Because you’re an angel
From the pale blue
Of the winter’s sky.
