My Mind, Times Square.
Thoughts jostling around in my brain.
Crowds of endless people shuffle around.
My secrets carefully locked up.
A businessman with a briefcase full of papers.
New ideas popping up,
running through my mind.
Buildings lit up with boundless colors.
Insecurites go through the mind.
A continual smell of street food in your nose.
Those big doubts nagging.
Waiting for a subway.
Questions stay there till answered.
The stinging cold on your nose.
Being let down and hurt.
And the seas of people don’t care.
Sometimes you make mistakes.
The emotions,
they all change in time.
Endless advertisements on the skyscrapers.
A simple mistake.
Changes from night to day.
Reflecting on the past.
The sun rises.
Hoping for the future.
People hurry along to work.
Moving around endlessly.
With no destination.
My mind, Times Square.
