What had my life summed up to be?
Standing, stopping, thinking…reflecting.
This moment would pass. I’d have to return to reality.
Tears swelled up in my eyes. A lump in my throat.
Words flew across the room.
Stories of loss.
Stories of doubt.
Stories of vice.
Stories of life, to inspire hope.
It suddenly made sense.
They need me. No, I need them.
I’m safe, I’m free.
This is where I’m supposed to be.
