Gray Eyes
December 15, 2012
in the grayest of days when
even my eyes
are gray
I pray silently that
someone will punch me so
a purple bruise will bloom
on my gray skin or
someone to stab me so
red blood will paint my body
in its lush hues of pain and anger
or
someone to kiss me and
make my cheeks blush pink
a subtle pink like a rose.
just… anything
anything to end the gray
