Life is Prison
Life is prison.
When you lock yourself up,
Up inside your own mind,
You’ve got nowhere to run,
You’ve got nowhere to hide.
For you have no secrets to reveal.
As for the guards,
Well,
They search throughout your mind,
For the thought that is still alive,
But is in a mix and chained up inside.
However, the searchlight shines
On the thought that tries to hide,
As for the guards
Well,
They turn the tide.
For the thought is too little too late
For it had failed to escape.
